The hotel remains closed, however we are now offering a limited takeaway service on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday each week. Read more here. All orders placed will be allocated a collection time slot. On arrival at the hotel, customers will be asked to call the hotel reception in order for us to bring the takeaway to your car to ensure all social distancing measures are adhered to.
A series of discounted eVouchers (saving up to 35%) have been launched allowing you to purchase online for you to use when we reopen or for you to gift to friends and family who are having to celebrate their birthdays and anniversaries in isolation or even just to say 'I'm thinking of you!' Coronavirus Statement 21/03/2020
I am deeply saddened with the news that we must close our restaurant with immediate effect. Our takeaway offering will continue until after Sunday Lunch tomorrow in order to honour those of you that have pre-ordered your meals, after which we will also be stopping our takeaway service and the hotel will close at 4pm tomorrow (Sunday 22nd March 2020).
The restaurant and hotel will be closed for the foreseeable future. At present, like many others, we are unsure of the length of this crisis, therefore we will be actively contacting all bookings for the following 4-week period to cancel/amend reservations. Any guests with future bookings are welcome to call us regarding their booking or email reception@ploughrhosmaen.com.
No future bookings for the hotel & restaurant will be taken until we have clarification as to when normal service can resume.
To our customers, thank you for supporting us over the years and more recently through these tough times. We really do appreciate it.
I personally would like to thank my team. You are amazing. You are the heart of this business. The Plough wouldn’t be what it is today without you fabulous individuals. We will return stronger than ever before.
The following weeks and months will be challenging for all of us, but this will come to an end. We will come out of hibernation, with great big smiles on our faces, keen to welcome you back.
In the meantime, stay safe and look after yourselves, and each other.
Andrew
