The millennium saw the official opening of the National Botanical Garden of Wales near Llanarthney near Llandeilo. The Great Glass House designed by Norman Foster is the centrepiece of the Gardens. Aberglasney just four miles away opened on the July 4th 1999 and features the restored gardens, walkway and yew tunnel of a bygone age. Gelli Aur Park features an Arboretum and deer park. |
