Although in the heart of the Towy Valley many beaches can be reached within an hour. The spectacular beaches of Gower, Rhossili, Three Cliffs, Oxwich, Langland, and Caswell Bay are always popular destinations. Pembrey Country park combines a wonderful beach and dunes with riding, cycling, and even a dry ski slope. Llansteffan has a lovely beach as well as a spectacular castle, and then on to Saundersfoot and Tenby with the Pembrokeshire coast beyond.
